The Benchmade 580 Barrage's AXIS spring-assist opening and locking mechanism has been updated to be stronger than its predecessors by providing a safety lock in both the opened and closed positions. The ambidextrous thumb-stud design allows you to easily open and close the knife with either hand. Its drop-point, stainless-steel blade measures 3.6 in. and has a blade hardness of 58-61HRC. Its resin Handle is impervious to moisture and provides a strong, comfortable frame that is easy to Handle. Reversible pocket clip makes storage and transport easy-just clip it on your pocket or belt and go.

These spring assisted models combine speed and strength in one complete package.

Drop-Point - A slow convex-curved drop in the point characterizes a drop-point blade. The drop-point format lowers the point for control but adds strength to the tip.
